Final Project- Golds Gym

Golds Gym in Ammon,Idaho i planning to build a gym. They are hoping that the new gym will bring in memberships and be well worth the risk building right now. Golds understands that risk that they are taking and they think that it will pay off in the end.

With our economy not at its highest right now, you can drive though town and see empty buildings, and businesses going out because they just couldn't get enough customers in. It is a bleak prospective. But in Ammon, Idaho Gold's Gym is in their preview center waiting to break ground on the new gym that is going to be built in Idaho Falls. So why do they feel they can make it? Why invest in this massive gym now, when others think that the economy hinders business prospects right now? Gold's Gym is looking to the future. In an interview with Ben Christiansen an employee at Golds, he said that by building right now they can save two million dollars, in building costs.

Prices are lower for building supplies right now, and Golds is hoping that by the time the new gym is built that the economy will have picked up and that this will bring a big return for them. So they continue on at the preview center. They hope to break ground within a few months, and then have the new gym built within a year.

The preview center hasn't stopped new and old gym member from coming in and signing up with Golds. The gym has three phases that will offer different membership costs. With the cost rising per phase. So the sooner that you sign up the more inexpensive membership you can get locked into for the new gym. With low prices and contests and other promotions that Golds offers, as well as physical fitness classes, and trainers, members are coming in and signing up before ground has been broken.
